You don’t need a white kitchen for a luxurious and modern look. Arent & Pyke studio designed a navy blue kitchen. To add some drama, the design studio added a long white marble island. It adds a nice contrast that brightens up the sophisticated cabinetry.
Australian designer Tamsin Johnson shared her home kitchen that’s covered in Bianco Gioia stone. The standout moment in this space is the unique jagged-edged island. Johnson loves a uniquely beautiful space that’s also functional for a family. The island grabs your attention and creates that “wow” factor.

This Santa Monica kitchen was designed by Kathy Taslitz. The modernist kitchen has a balance of luxury and natural materials. Taslitz added contrast to the black cabinetry by installing a white marble backsplash from the countertop to the ceiling. This kitchen is unique because it layers multiple different materials to create a chic and modern space.
