A trending color for interior design is blue. Designers are painting bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms in different hues of blue. Each shade can set the tone for a room. Deep midnight blues can create a rich and moody atmosphere. Light blue wall color can make a room look bright and airy. Get inspired by seeing our 7 unique blue room round-up below.

The first of the unique blue room round-up is a Mathew Quinn Design. It features beautiful marble countertops and trim around the window that has blue veining. The wall is covered in blue subway tiles for a moody vibe and compliments the marble stone.

The dream team of Studio McGee designed a contemporary kitchen with a pop of navy blue cabinets. Sometimes all blue cabinetry can be overwhelming. They decided to have natural oak counter cabinets and a custom island to contrast with the blue hue.

Sometimes one shade of blue isn’t enough. Interior designer, Kelly Cook, styled stormy blue-gray cabinets with a smokey onyx kitchen island. The wallpaper and ceiling pull different blue hues to create a cohesive kitchen. Don’t be afraid to pick more than one shade for one space.
