Floor to ceiling wrap around windows in a mid century modern home provide a great outdoor backdrop. The windows help highlight a bright living room that plays host to some modern furniture classics. A Noguchi glass coffee table and a red Eero Saarinen Womb Chair – both designed in the 1940s – are key to bringing simple modern style to this home’s living space. (above)
I like this room. Simple. Modern (am now thinking modern after this weekend’s festivities). Refreshing. The floor to ceiling windows are just right. I always believe there can never be too much natural light in a space…especially when the light comes along with gorgeous views. Love the trees and woods – perfectly framed by the slanted roof line. Love the muted whites, the taupe sofa and sectional, and the pops of yellow and reds – an effortless balance of color and neutrals. Ahhhh….
Indeed! Daylight is important!
I love the carpet! Seems nice to sit on! Very soft I think!

Love it! that red chair is so fun and I love the little glass tables too..
The red Womb chair looks phenomenal in this space!
This room is perfect. It comes so close to my style. Connected to nature, modern, yet cozy and warm, uncluttered. Simplicity at its best. I couldn’t imagine another rug in there!
Love those window, rug and view! Not sold on the couches but it’s a stunning space!
This room is so fun! I love the sporadic displays of yellows and reds throughout a more muted color palette.
Those yellow pillows on the neutral couch is amazing!
This room is so cozy, i could see myself in here during any season!
I don’t think I would ever leave my home! I love when architects utilize nature as a part of their creations.
I literally only have 5 windows in my town home…I’m so jealous of this room.
Such a great room! I LOVE all the windows & the vegetation outside – a pretty ideal space 🙂
I was just in this store coco and the ladies behind the counter were so friendly! Great finds and fabrics and decent prices too. Also just a fun vibe with the open air feel.
