Every room treats art and objects with the same weight as furniture, nothing is decorative for its own sake, everything is placed with intention. The Haussmannian bones, ornate cornicing, herringbone parquet, original stained glass ceiling, stay intact throughout. This Haussmannian apartment sits directly facing N This Haussmannian apartment sits directly facing Notre-Dame on the Left Bank, and @double_g_interior_design designed the interior to match that setting without competing with it. ✨ The approach was deliberate restraint: restored cornices kept intact, stained oak floors, limestone tones, a mix of vintage furniture and contemporary silhouettes. Every choice earning its place. The light does the rest.
