Okay…I am back…
Took a bit of a writing break…but now I am back…more more more more design….
Beds, bedrooms, pillows, duvet covers, comforters, coverlets, linens, sheets, canopies, headboards, nightstands….practical elements in a bedroom…
I spent all of Saturday in bed…again…sick with a some sort of flu or sore throat or cold or something…needless to say…I got to know my bedroom again. Comfy, cozy, clean and fresh…if only my look matched it (if you could have seen the mish mosh get up I had on…would have put a clown to shame).
Anyhooo….love the seven bedrooms in this post…because they’ve got all the bed basics and a lot of style…just dreamy!

Raffia textured tan wallpaper, an upholstered ottoman with faux bamboo legs, a rattan nightstand and palm leaf print bedding come together to create a bedroom with a tropical feel to it. (above)

A white Queen Ann style upholstered headboard stands out against a wall with floral blue and grey wall covering. A brass lamp with a pale pink lampshade add warmth. (above)

A wood four poster canopy bed makes a statement in the center of this large bedroom and also provides the perfect framing for a black and white print featuring a herd of beautiful horses. A heart shaped patterned orange and white duvet covers the bed and a grey chaise sits neatly in the corner…perfect for an lazy afternoon nap or a good late night read. (above)

Twin beds with coronets make a positively posh pair. White bedding is contrasted with serene shades of dusty blue. Upholstered miniature accent side chairs are cleverly positioned at the foot of each bed. (above)

Simplicity is the key in this compact bedroom. White linens with embroidered trim, tan walls and Tiffany blue lamps and matching roman shades make this bedroom simply delightful. (above)
Finally, a zebra rug, lots of silver touches, a shiny leather headboard and large black and white framed prints featuring Hollywood stars (Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean) give this room a glam star studded feel. (above)
Am sleepy now…just finished watching the Super Bowl…had a few friends over for an impromptu gathering…tired…time to get back in bed…
Good night!!!
Thx, greet post
I love the Black and Tan room with the black & white photos and zebra rug! I’m trying to recreate this look for my home office. Can you tell me what paint color you used for the wall color? I love it! I’m so inspired now! thanks!
