travel Here’s a blog post all about my day trip to the Descanso Gardens. Only 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, is a botanical garden with world-renowned botanical collections. It also happens to be one of my favorite places to visit during the spring. Every month a different plant is blooming, which is always so inspiring to see. I visited the gardens last April. I’m hoping to visit again before spring is over.
The Descanso Gardens is known for its magnificent seasonal horticultural displays. It’s accredited by the American Association of Museums and has 250,000 visitors every year. Learn about the gardens below.

interiors Some good news today. I am so excited to announce that I have partnered with FTD and ProFlowers to design my own bouquet! This hand tied flower arrangement is named The Classic bouquet by COCOCOZY! I wanted to create simple pretty flowers for home and I did it. I’ve been keeping this under wraps for months so it is a relief to finally share it with you all.
I worked in conjunction with the FTD design team on creating a bouquet that is soothing, lush and elegant. Neutral and easy on the eyes in green and white. White roses, alstroemeria, Star of Bethlehem, eucalyptus and much more all in a beautiful hand tied bouquet. In a time where we all need a little brightness and happiness in our homes, this partnership is particularly meaningful. I am hoping people will send this bouquet to their loved ones, family, friends, co-workers, teachers or even treat themselves.
style I recently set a holiday lunch table out in my garden. Have you ever wondered how to style a holiday table when entertaining guests? I live in Southern California so it doesn’t exactly look like the holiday season for those in the East Coast or in colder places, but since it’s so nice outside, I had to take advantage of the weather outside during the holidays.
It was warm outside (around 53), but I still had heat lamps just in case. You never know how cool it can get in the evening. Here’s how I style a holiday table using a traditional plaid.

style We recently threw a bridal shower for my sister DS at Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica on the water. We celebrated in their back room called The Bungalow, a bright and welcoming flower-adorned space with exceptional sunlight from the sun roof. It truly was a stunning place. A friend of DS’s arranged this lovely luncheon for 20 or so of us to celebrate my sister’s bridal shower.
My sis DS is perhaps the most kind, sweet, smart, beautiful person I know. I can’t tell you how happy I was to be there to see her so happy and surrounded by people who love her and are about her. She and her fiancé AL (my lovely future brother-in-law) are a perfect match. It’s a delight to be celebrating their pending big day and future lives together. The bridal shower venue reflected how we all feel for DS at this time. Happy.
Swathed in pink and with colorful roses and lush floral linens and furnishings, this spot was the perfect place for a celebration. I definitely think I will host my next Girl Boss Lunch there! The entire place was just lovely.

entertaining I am officially picking my favorite season of the year: Fall. I just love this weather!
The idea that we are getting closer to the end of the year and cooler days are creeping up always makes me so happy and energized. For me, fall is usually full of excitement and activities like seeing friends and family, and its the time of year I most look forward to.
