homeHappened upon this stunning industrial apartment in Spain with concrete walls! Yes. Concrete walls! Very modern and masculine – all grey. Not quite my style but thought the concept was so interesting that I had to share. Designed by Katty Schiebeck, this small loft in Barcelona is a must see for the architecturally curious! This one is the complete opposite of the bright fresh bohomian living room I posted yesterday…but I think I like this too.
I imagine some sleek very urban very modern man living in here. Who could you imagine living in a home with concrete walls. Take a look.
homeMy business coach (yes I have a business coach) says that I should put my house hunt on hold and focus on a few other things right now. As most of you know, I have been hunting for a house here in Los Angeles for a bit. I have searched high and low, from the hills to the beach and have not found anything I quite like. I am looking for a place with charm and lots of potential. The problem with being a home design blogger is nothing seems to be good enough. Do I want cozy or big, city or hills, beach or Sunset Strip. Arghhhhh choices choices…
Happened upon this little remodeled California Spanish bungalow and I thought “this is cute”. What if I just got a cute charming little house, painted the walls white, opened up some windows and called it a day? Home is where the heart is after all…right? Anyhooo…today I bring you a cute little bungalow house tour…

homeOn this Thursday, I bring you another multi million dollar house tour. This time from New York City…it’s an $18 million dollar Park Avenue loft.
I was just thinking the other day how chic loft living is. Years ago, my best of friend AM, lived in a fabulous huge loft down in Soho. It was all white and she hung bold daring art on the walls. It was a wide open space so it was perfect for entertaining large groups…AM entertained so much there…in fact some of her friends even borrowed her apartment to throw their own parties there.
Now AM and her hubby JE live in a regular apartment (with very high ceilings)…I wonder if this luxurious loft would entice them to go back to loft living.
homeCOCOCOZY assistant AC picked this lovely house tour today. AC is from Santa Barbara and has family friends who have renovated this stunning eco-friendly Montecito Mansion. I remember the first time I went to Montecito years ago…I didn’t know it even existed but I stopped there on my way to Santa Barbara. I remember thinking “Where am I? This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in California.” A town filled with multi million dollar mansions…and adorable shops…the perfect spot for this week’s house tour…
homeToday I bring you a fabulous San Francisco mansion makeover on sale for $7.75 million dollars. Less than two years ago, San Francisco house with a streamline profile at 1164 Fulton Street was sold for $975,000. Now, after the facelift, the architecture seems to fit right into the Victorian style row houses San Francisco is so known for…right? The twist is here, the facade or front of this building is 100% new. It looked nothing like this just a year and half ago.
