The long weekend seems so long ago! Been thinking a lot about the beach these days.
Coincidentally, on Tuesday, I got a nice email from the nice people over at Jonathan Adler (my design crush)…they (Starret his publicist) was announcing his new tote collection.
Fabric totes always remind me of the beach.

I but a LL Bean with my initials every year in the biggest size they make it, its the perfect summer beach bag. I love the Jonathan Adler one too…great looking!

$238.00 (on sale) is absurd for a canvas beach tote. Ridiculous. Really.
I LOVE the Oscar de la Renta tote! I am very taken with that fabric, with the imperfect hand printed look of it. Nave and white is such a cool refreshing combination, too. I would carry it everywhere! I would, however make my own, from canvas I would print myself and stitch up on my beloved sewing machine. Ouch to the price tag.
