Happy Labor Day!
I was recently reminded of this moment on one of my trips to the Hamptons this summer…felt like an appropriate nod to this holiday weekend…and before I go any further, don’t worry I didn’t trade in Mr. Boo for this little pup, this is my friend A.Ro’s dog named Maddox, isn’t he cute? Coincidence that she got him and named him Right after Brad and Angelina had their son Maddox?? (she insists it was not intentional but I don’t buy it…she’s a big Brangelina fan…) This street in the Hamptons, Mill Hill Lane, is one of my favorite allées…such a favorite in fact that I’m writing up a whole post next week on more garden allées that I love.
Details on this outfit…casual chic I like to call it..the dress is actually Free People from a few seasons ago, I surprised myself when I bought it because it was the first Free People dress that I have loved enough to buy…very flattering and comfortable and can be worn casual as shown here or dressed up with heels and some jewels. The straw hat I may or may not have borrowed from best of friend AM…when we’re together it’s an understanding that we share practically everything related to clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup…at least I think it’s an understanding we have, not sure if she’s caught on yet. The shoes are Jack Purcell converse and a Must have in every closet.
