ILLUMINATING SIMILARITIES – LIGHTING UP THE FALL FASHION RUNWAY!

October 21, 2008

Left: Model from Alexander Wang's show wearing a black and white dress. Right: Black and white pendant light
Dress: Alexander Wang via style.com
Lighting: Palluco Gilda – YLighting – $1099.25 (Hanging pendant lamp with telescoping matte chrome finish stem. Designed with an oversized lamp shade. The shade in fireproof white cotton comes in beige or black) (above)

These photo collages came straight to me from Sylvia at Arieff Communications in San Francisco…she reps YLighting and Zwello. Seems Sylvia has an eye for fashion and lighting. From this year’s fall runway collections, Sylvia finds high style lighting that is cut from the same cloth it seems! Stylish details are just as important in lighting as in the world fashion judging by these collages. Thank you Sylvia for sending these in for Cococozy!

Lighting: Come Rain Come Shine – Zwello -$5170 (Lighting design by Tord Boontje for Artenica. White chandelier is wrapped in a handcrafted concoction of crocheted cotton, organza, silk and fabric flowers which are placed upon and strung from the chandelier) (above)

Polypropylene shade arrives fully assembled. Choose from white, yellow, orange, red, blue, green or multicolor. Available in three sizes. All sizes are equipped with 60″ of field-cuttable wire) (above)
