Mint Green Modern Mediterranean Kitchen

July 13, 2021
  • Share

I don’t know about you, but I can look at kitchen designs all day. Take a look inside this modern Mediterranean kitchen design. The 1921 San Francisco home was in need of a makeover. Thanks to interior designer, Regan Baker, the kitchen got the upgrade it deserved. The kitchen features brass finishes that gives the kitchen a more luxurious look. Baker originally wanted to design a more vibrant kitchen. However, she found herself attracted to more softer and timeless elements. Leading her to choose the beautiful mint green color for the cabinets. The design process started in 2019 and was completed after 3 months.

Regan Baker’s mission is to transform ordinary homes into spaces that reflect her client’s personality and lifestyle. She is also passionate about highlighting black women’s art in her designs. In this project, she used mixed-media work by Marie Alexander, Tawny Chatmon’s Renaissance-influenced photography, an oil portraiture by Lauren Pearce, and original collage pieces by Christa David. Baker’s kitchen design is breathtaking.

The perfect balance of cool and warm tones throughout the kitchen. The gold fixtures add a nice touch of luxury to transform the kitchen into the true star of the home.

The geometric backsplash tile was a collaboration with Bay Area based artist, Linda Fahey. They finished the backsplash with a rose gold glaze to compliment the mint green cabinets.

This is the walk-in pantry. Not a bad place to store your favorite groceries. The walnut cabinetry elevates the kitchen.

The Mute. 220 sqm of Haussmannian light in eastern The Mute. 220 sqm of Haussmannian light in eastern Paris, dressed entirely in white.
Old-world plasterwork meets contemporary furniture, and warm brown-stained wood quietly anchors every room. A conversation between heritage and modernity that never raises its voice. By @atelierdaaa 🤍

Did you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-ÉlyséeDid you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-Élysées closes to traffic entirely?
No cars. Just people, walking straight down the center with the Arc de Triomphe ahead. Then I walked home over The Seine. It had just rained, and the sky was doing something extraordinary. And of course, the Eiffel Tower showed up right on cue.
Paris on a quiet Sunday is something else. 🖤

This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millo This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millory @felixmillory , is defined by two things: a tightly controlled material palette and a sculptural art collection that runs through every room without exception.
Travertine frames every doorway. Dark smoked oak covers the joinery and cabinetry. Grey marble runs across the kitchen counters and island. Within that framework, figurative sculptures on the shelves, a large totemic piece at the entrance, stone forms on the dining table, a large-format artwork in the kitchen. Every room has at least one object that demands your attention. 🗿
→ Save this if you’re designing around a sculpture collection.
