A few weeks ago I took a trip to East Hampton to visit my best friend Anne. Read my previous post about Anne’s home here. Anne and her husband John recently redid their entire backyard and turned it into a stunning outdoor living space. It was designed with relaxing and entertaining in mind. Even days that are not event filled feel special in Paris. Started with French class on this day. I was taking classes at L'Alliance Français because living here means actually trying to belong here and speak the language. Then off to the Hôtel de Crillon @rosewoodhoteldecrillon ,a historic palace hotel overlooking Place de la Concorde, known for its timeless interiors and quiet kind of luxury, catching up with a friend like it was the most ordinary thing...in extraordinary place.
