Three things we did to refresh this patio located in the canyons: 1. Power wash everything! Everything. Furniture, walls, patio floor, outdoor rugs and umbrellas all got a power wash. 2. Get rid of dying plants! With recent heat waves here, we identified the plants that were dead, the ones that could be replanted on the hillside and the ones that just needed a bit of clipping and pruning and repotting. 3. New soil and a few new plants! You can revive some tired looking plants by repotting them in new soil and in different pots. I once loved entertaining out here. Might have to get back to it!
