Two rooms…same color scheme…icy. Pale blues, greys, pale greens and whites. Which of these two rooms do you prefer?
The first room above is quite glam with the large lucite table (doing a post on lucite coffee tables coming up so stay tuned), flokati rug, the crystal table lamps.
The second room below is more functional it seems…a room that a family could really use on a day to day basis…simple, practical, easy to understand decor.
Which of these two icy colored rooms is your fave? I’m leaning towards the glam I think!
Happy Wednesday!

Definitely the glam!!! The other is very nice too and great for a family but the glam is…WOW!
Hi Coco,
I prefer the second room. I find it more inviting.
Definitely the second. It is more like you said…”live-able” Congrats on the collection!!!
The second just seems more functional and warm & inviting.
Although the fist is pretty fancy!
At first glance I was drawn to the “glam” but then I knew I would never sit in it so I have to say the second room would be my pick!
Room 2 for me ..I love it..
I love the coffee tables in both rooms, but I think the glam one is my favorite as well.
The second. It’s real, it’s liveable. The glam is beautiful, but I prefer rooms that I’m not afraid will get messed up or dirty — lived in. Rooms that scream when they have been disheveled scare me. With room two, you wouldn’t notice something was out of place as much as the first.
Love the Glam! But real life brings me back to the second room… which I would love to have in my Florida home…and I just might!
I much prefer the “glam” one, first because of the architectural elements — the large window, molding and coffered ceiling. It also seems more cozy to me — I love the furry rug, drapes and sofa. Even though there is only the one sofa in the room, the size of the Lucite table could make it more functional, as you could sit around it and do homework, play games, etc. Even though it has fewer furnishings than the second room, it is more inviting to me.
I’m with Michelle…love the first one, but would prefer the 2nd. Great rooms though.
Congratulations on the Gracious Home order!
I’d be afraid to “live” in either of these rooms with my ginormous dogs and wrecking ball children… But in a fantasy world without muddy paw prints and Sharpie markers, I’d go for Number Two. The first one looks unwelcoming, like the kind of living room that no one is ever allowed to sit down in.
I’m loving both, but I would have to say the glam room! It is gorgeous!!!

I like both, but lately I’ve really been drawn to soft fluffy rugs…the glam room definitely has that curl up on in a soft spot feel!
The diva in me loves the first room, but I crave a little color added in. Even a soft color would do.
The second room is more warm, but I like the style better, too. The first is too horizontal – not enough variety.
I would love sitting, entertaining in, and gazing at the second one.
The glam is gorgeous, but the second room seems more inviting to me– like I could really relax in that space.
Heidi 🙂
yup i def like the 2nd room the best

The second speaks to me more. The first one is snow queen cool
The second feels more lived in and inviting to me!
I really enjoyed this post because I just got married and our new living room is taking on a very neutral palette with grey based blues, whites, and grey. I love the inviting first room, but I’d love to know where the throw pillows are from in the second more casual room.
The second one looks a little more welcoming! Both lovely.
I’m leaning towards the second one as a stylish compromise for family.
But I’ll take the first one too. It can be my boudoir.
I love the look of the glam room, so cool and clean, symetrical and tres chic, but alas, too formal for me to live in. The second room feels warmer and much more livable. Could I have both? Please? 🙂
What a grand entrance it would be when a visitor comes in. It looks like the snow have gone inside the living room. Fantastic for a fabulous coffee break or gathering.
The glam is great, but I prefer the second one. Makes me want to sit and stay a while.
So great for you!!!! And also I am DYING for a lucite table so I am anxious to see the post I HOPE you give us some ideas of where to get them!
first one hands down. I just NEED that coffee table, and that long pillow…I think I’m in love!!!
