Visited this Venice Beach cottage dining room last week. Complete with Pierre Frey’s Maritius wallpaper and pink peonies. It was a holiday party at my friend CB’s beautiful Venice Beach home…will photograph this entire home during the day soon because every room is amazing and noteworthy. Her style is traditional with a twist…CB is originally from Texas but has lived in the Venice Beach area for years and she always throws delightful parties. Last week she had about 15 people over to her home for a lovely holiday gathering. Her dining room is so darling, I love the palm tree patterned wallpaper, the coordinating green painted built-in cabinetry and the little crystal chandelier…all overlooking her darling garden. She has a beautiful tree in the main room and subtle holiday touches around the house. I actually love that she went with pink peonies on the table…a festive pop of color. Love love this all for a holiday twist on tradition.

Its nice! Apart from the green of the wallpaper, some live plants inside the room would have added to the aura.. just a thought!
