Happy May! I recognize the title of this post is “WEEKEND PHOTO” singular yet I am posting two photos…couldn’t help it though…needed a couple of different angles on this fantastic floor.
What an interesting room from the 2011 San Francisco Decorator Showcase just opened to the public yesterday and runs through the end of May. It benefits the financial aid program for a local San Francisco high school.
This dining room is a little more dark and moody than what normally catches my eye…but for some reason, I really like. It’s perhaps the painted black and white graphic floor that does it for me the most and then those green Louis XVI dining chairs! The huge parsons dining table is custom made faux painted to look like burled wood.
Designer Grant K. Gibson designed this dining room for this San Francisco show house. The floor was apparently created by decorative painter Katherine Jacobus.
