Dreaming of bedroom designs now that I’m in full house hunting mode…the house is on the market…eeekkkkkk! Not sure whether or not to throw a party or throw up from nerves but that’s besides the point. In all of my research it’s amazing when you see homes that make a fabulous first impression…they are casually chic and it’s like they know they’re the cool kid on the block.
Found this white bedroom recently, don’t you feel a breath of fresh air looking at it?? The white doors and cozy white duvet make this room inviting, like you could take a day off work and just cozy up here all day…
What do you think about white bedrooms…too risky to keep clean? Or the perfect calm to your design?

This room is like a breath of fresh air! My bedroom is mostly white but I have carpet and my current quilt has splashes of color so it doesn’t feel as airy as this. One day, one day *sigh* lol good luck with finding a new castle to live in :-.)
I think there are studies that show that an all-white bedroom–or at least a room with the fewest possible distractions–is best for sleeping. Your bedroom should be for two things only: sleep and sex. Not for reading, working, exercising, having coffee, whatever. You should slip into your bed and fall asleep within 15 minutes. If the only thing you do in the bedroom is sleep, then your brain will just click over to sleep quickly. The huge bedroom suites with sofas and all are actually bad for sleeping. And the fewer colors the better. You want it as calm and as boring as possible.
