This is a good white kitchen with a bit of wood contrast. It is in the Beacon Hill home of Boston interior designer Nina Farmer. Okay…you know me…I am sucker for clean bright white kitchen. This one has it all…high ceilings, steel windows, lots of light, great stone countertops and wood floors. The subway tile backsplash works too. Then here is the twist…the stained wood island, open cabinets with the same wood shelves showing and the furniture in the form of the desk that ties the wood accents together.
I think this is a nicely done space. I would take it.
What do you think?

This is a beautiful kitchen. I would take it in a heartbeat. The only thing I don’t care for is the wood stained desk. My preference would be white for the desk. That’s just my personal preference.
Adore the desk and the unexpected warmth it brings to this space!
Love the use of medium tone woods and textured storage baskets to give the popular stark white kitchen a refreshing warm cozy feeling!
