A statement chair first introduced to the world in 1949…the Wishbone Chair by Danish designer Hans Wegner is a early mid-century classic. I love this wood chair. Wegner apparently had seen so many images of potraits with old world Chinese Ming chairs that he decided to make his update 20th century version.
Which of the four chairs above do you like best? I like the 1 (the classic) and 3.
Happy Friday!

I love the classic original “wishbone”–I’m still kicking myself for not buying a perfect set of 4 original early ’60s wishbones for only $400!! Oh, well–forward. Thanks. Mary
I never used to be into the kind of mod, sparse style that these chairs fall into — but after my trip to LA last weekend, I totally get it. Love the ones with natural wood especially.
