27 Unique Faucets

So many shapes and sizes and finishes for kitchen faucets and bathroom faucets.  If I ever find another house and remodel another kitchen, I plan on going pretty simple for the faucet.  However, I must say, I was surprised to see how many creative and unique faucets there are out in the world!  Brass, copper, chrome, stainless or black for finishes.  Two handle, wall mount, single handle, ball or  bridge faucets.

    I would like to know the brand of the 6th faucet down in the article, the one with double knobs and faucet hanging forward rather than up and out, the one with the silver finish. Thanks!

Instagram post 18070098073214912 Debated on what to write here. Took this video of my courtyard yesterday afternoon. Just rearranged some furniture and wanted to show it to you. What is really on my mind (still) is what we all have been going through these days in terms of talking about race and fighting racism. The uncomfortable conversations and confronting issues that people have not wanted to confront before. So easy to go back to ignoring what has happened over the past month and just look at pretty videos like this of my courtyard here in Beverly Hills. Warm sunny late afternoon with palm trees billowing is the ultimate escape. I feel fortunate to call this place home. While my particular surroundings give me calmness and peace, there is so much that is unsettled in our nation as far as racism still. I am hoping and praying people do not go back to the ease of not having to think about uncomfortable things. I hope allies continue to have the compassion, empathy, and motivation to care and act against racism. Every morning when I open the news or IG, the algorithms hit me with stories about Black people being violently attacked or daily injustices based on race. I am reminded on a daily basis of how Black people and people of color are being mistreated on a regular basis in daily life or physically harmed just because of the color of our skin. I was talking to the CEO of a major company the other day; he said fighting racism takes discipline. I agree. I have the discipline because I think if we cure this problem we will all be better off. Are you burned out or are you in for the long haul? Be honest. I want to hear. BTW I will still show you pretty pictures always because I love to and it makes me feel good to share. :)

This house I once owned as a flip/remodel project is now owned by my sister - she and my brother in law live and quarantine there thankfully. When she bought it from me last year, none of us had any idea just how much time they would be spending there. I am so thrilled to say, that this design concept home I built has been a sanctuary for my sis and her husband. All the attention We paid to detail when remodeling, has resulted in the perfect home to be stuck in for months for them! Spent time there with them this weekend. I was happy to see them so happily living in the space I designed. We had a wonderful dinner and talked about everything going on in the world and how we are doing our part. Wearing masks and working on a project that hopefully helps with racial injustice in business! Will keep you posted. I took this photo from my phone in Los Angeles while my friend in New York was giving me a FaceTime tour of her garden 2500 miles away. Normally about this time of year I would be visiting there in the Hamptons and seeing this sweet scene in person. Love the swing, climbing roses and the diamond pattern stepping pavers. A lonely guest room gallery wall during a global pandemic is really the least of the world’s problems! I put together this wall for a partnership project last year and never took it down. It includes old architectural prints I had framed, some wall art from the partnership and even a cute crystal piece made by my friend. Swipe left to see wall before and some details. There seems to be a gallery wall malaise on IG these days. I still love a good gallery wall. Do you?
Instagram post 18143513599066168 New week! Here we go. This a view of my dining room from awhile back. It is pretty much the same now. This room makes me happy. I have made a few changes since this photo was taken. Someone suggested I put down a rug under the dining table. I haven’t yet because I have this thing about not having rugs or carpeting under dining tables...spills, crumbs etc. I might change my mind at some point. I also have a feeling we are going to go back on quarantine. This room is at the center of my house...between the kitchen and living room. I never thought when I moved here 3 years ago that I would spend this much time in this spot! So far so good though. I haven’t tired of it yet. Do you think there will be quarantine again? If so, where do you spend the most time in your home?
