3 Maximalist Home Offices That Leave You Inspired

The art of maximalism can be challenging to master. There is a thin line between a space feeling inspired or overwhelming. These office spaces are filled with saturated colors and fun patterns but do so in a tasteful and refined way. The interior above was designed by G.P. Schafer, a New York-based architectural firm founded in 2002 by Gil Schafer. The office space is actually Gil’s personal office within G.P. Schafer’s New York office. The design is inspired by Gil’s interests and years of collecting both furniture and art.

Interior stylist Carlos Mota designed this bold office space for his home in the Dominican Republic. The room features a custom desk designed by Mota himself. He loves to incorporate vibrant colors in his designs to inspire his clients.

The perfect balance of farmhouse and sophisticated decor. French designer, Jean-Louis Deniot, designed a maximalist home office that features dark green wallpaper, a striped Moroccan rug, and a navy blue desk. He wanted to create a room that was chic but had the organic feel of farmhouse decor.
