The stainless steel trend is not for everyone, but stainless steel cabinets are the perfect way to add a modern touch to the home! The industrial look can fit a variety of aesthetics from modern to updates contemporary. Of course, the look has been around for while, but is starting to really pick up. Now, in my real home I have white glass front cabinets. But my imaginary big city apartment, I dream of stainless steel cabinets. One of the biggest advantages of stainless steel cabinets is their durability. They are highly resistant to stains, scratches, and corrosion making them perfect for the busiest of homes. I love this trend, so let’s take a look at 5 cool ways to use stainless steel cabinets in your kitchen.
Total Stainless Steel Chic
I am obsessed with this kitchen. From the stark white walls to the stainless steel backsplash, I can’t get enough! The white countertops really breathe life into this industrial space, a nice juxtaposition to the stainless steel cabinets. But what truly elevates this kitchen are the personal touches and attention to detail. The accessories carefully chosen by the designer add a sense of warmth and character to the space. Those books on the shelves not only provide practical storage but also add a touch of personality and charm. Incorporating stainless steel runs a fine line between commercial kitchen and home, so focusing on personal touches is a must. This space does that job perfectly and feels homey while still having that steel edge!
Contemporary with a Pop
When building the perfect kitchen, its important to create a cohesive space and this is a great example. From the rich hardwood flooring to the classic countertops, each piece harmoniously complements the stainless steel cabinets, creating a captivating contrast that adds depth and character to the entire space. What I love most is how this combination of different styles doesn’t feel overpowering but instead creates a timeless and comfortable ambiance. It’s a kitchen that manages to capture the best of both worlds, offering a contemporary edge while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. While, at the same time, the mixed elements also create a sense of timelessness and comfort. Overall, the details in this kitchen and subtle and chic. What a great way to add to this trend!
Sleek and Clean
What a breath of fresh air! This kitchen is not only beautiful, but functional. The stainless steel cabinet trend was utilized perfectly from the backsplash to the drawer pulls. But my absolute favorite part has to be the glass front cabinets. They add a touch of elegance and charm that elevates the entire kitchen. I love how they proudly display glassware and decorative items. It’s like having a little curated gallery right in the home. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these glass front cabinets work wonders in making the kitchen feel more open and spacious. The glass panels reflect light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere!
Modern and Bright
This space is the epitome of luxurious, from the stone backsplash to all of the stainless steel detailing. I love how the trend is extended into this kitchen through the base of the countertops and that beautiful double fridge. Not only does it create a visually pleasing continuation of the material, but it also serves as a practical choice, as the base of the countertops often bears the brunt of daily wear and tear. The stainless steel base ensures longevity and easy maintenance while maintaining a high-end, polished look. This kitchen is a testament to how a thoughtful integration of stainless steel can elevate a space from merely functional to a breathtaking sanctuary that exudes modern luxury!
Traditional with a Twist
How cute is this little breakfast nook? This is a total traditional cottage but the small stainless steel cabinets and details are so eye-catching. Additionally, the stainless steel details sprinkled throughout, like the drawer pulls or the sleek backsplash, tie everything together in a cohesive and chic manner. These little touches show that even a small dose of stainless steel can make a big impact in transforming the space into something extraordinary. It’s the perfect marriage of old-world charm and contemporary flair. I can’t help but fall in love with the character and personality of this breakfast nook!

Oh boy, all I see is little hand prints everywhere if this was in my home!
Beautiful look, but can only imagine how much work it would require to keep them looking so!
I posted on metal cabinets last week, love that it’s becoming a more popular look. I really like the 3rd and 4th kitchens!! Thanks for sharing!

Love love LOVE the look of this. But def for someone else…not for me. A bit too mod for my own home and I think the finger prints would drive me bat sh*t crazy. I only wish I could be so neat.
By far I prefer the 5th kitchen, even though it’s small. It seems so warm and cozy with the fireplace, despite the omnipresence of stainless steel. I like it a lot!
OMG – Fab! But I already see what the “after” pic would be once my boys had walked through the kitchen 😉
Lovely though!
Oh i would definitely do some steel cabinets in my kitchen- (if it looked somewhat like those photograph 🙂 ) Looks amazing!
Nope. Too industrial/laboratory-like for me. I prefer kitchens with some warmth to them.
I love Kitchen 5 — it seems like fingerprints would be okay in that casual, cool setting.
I’m actually not a huge fan of full-on stainless steel in the ktichen…looks too industrial. I like my kitchen to be warm, though not country. I read that stainless steel is actually going out of style & that colored steel appliances are coming in. Interesting right?!

Think about all that cleaning you have to do though!!
Im definitely going with kitchen #5. Its infused with texture which gives it life and warmth. Just needs a great patterned rug under the table and it will be perfect! The others are a bit too impractical for me.
#4 is absolute pure perfection! I’m in love!!!!!
kitchen 4 and 5 are the best because they have warmth. you need to add warmth with too much stainless. kitchen 5 with the fireplace is dreamy! 🙂
I prefer stainless with warmer materials like wood.
I’d never be able to keep stainless steel bases clean (dishwasher is never clean) but I like the idea of stainless and glass uppers with wood bases.
Cheers,

I like them all! I like the module idea, this way I can move them around and add pieces as I see fit.
