Today, the focus is the kitchen and kitchen sinks. As my guy TE and I work on the full home remodel of the new place in Malibu, I have been dissecting all aspects of every room in a home.
We have chosen a super wide double stainless steel sink. Yes, we will be using sink sound dampening pads to insulate the bottom of the sink basins so they are not really noisy. While we are completely gutting the entire almost 4000 square foot house, we are doing some recycling by reusing the existing industrial style kitchen sink. Our contractor is going to see if his metal guy can reconfigure the existing integrated sink into a single undermount sink. The ship has sailed for us on sink choices…but thought you might it useful to know about the latest and greatest in modern kitchen sinks!

Hi! New to your blog! Live in Mission Viejo (south of you)…and just finished YESTERDAY a 3 month downstairs (townhome) remodel caused by a busted kitchen sink. We went more traditional…white cast iron sink, undermount. We splurged on the back splash and the granite slabs. Your view is gorgeous!
I love the white on white. It’s what my new kitchen will be!! Thanks for sharing. Come by the-wardrobe-stylist.com to get some of my fashion food for thought and please follow me on Bloglovin 🙂
Still loving the farm house sinks in the classic clean styles. By far the top request of my clients from traditional to contemporary. I also think for small kitchens it infuses personality without overpowering the space. What about you?
