Love love love this outdoor patio in the middle of the city! Eames chairs, Panton chairs, market umbrellas, over grown bamboo for privacy and a bit of gleam with the some shiny metal (probably stainless) planters. Ooooohhhhh…the owner of this patio is so lucky! Enjoying the great outdoors at home in the middle of New York City. Who knew? Love that the skyline is like a piece of art…an awesome tableau of sorts. Can imagine this space looks awesome at night!
Just thinking about Spring and enjoying the warmer weather…although it is really warm here already!

P.S. On a more serious note…thinking of all of the people in Japan today who are dealing with the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami…my sincerest thoughts and prayers with all the people there and are with you and your loved ones if you have family there now.

That patio is really lovely..i’m contemplating buying two panton chairs to put at the two ends of my dining table…i was thinking of pairing them with something a little trad…like some french style chairs maybe…but they look good with the eames chairs as well.
The situation in Japan is really heartbreaking….so many lives lost and many more destroyed.sending out my prayers…xx meenal

I feel strongly that just planning a spot like this, especially if you live where it’s still cold, helps dispel the winter blahhs. For what you might spend on a Caribbean cruise you could be creating a fantastic spot to welcome spring!
Looks like a piece of paradise in NYC! I can imagine it would be lovely at night too.

Love it. My “Interieurs” terrace looks so sad. A client, bought the entire terrace’s outdoor furniture, planters including…could not say no, but now am desperately waiting for the new pieces. I just love New York in the Spring…counting the days, and feels so fortunate to have such great outdoor space.
