It’s AM’s first Mother’s Day and guess how she celebrated…a wonderful brunch with her 7 month old son and her husband and a day at the “hip” playground in Soho with other like minded mother-sophisticates.
On this first Mother’s Day for her, AM also had another first…she sent me an “AM Deco find” to post without requiring any badgering, pestering or prodding from me! It is a Happy Mother’s Day.
I assume the reason AM is pointing out these two toned lacquer trays is because they are pink. Secondly, they come from the famed Chinese goods catch-all store in Soho called Pearl River, which is right around the corner from her loft in New York City…I bet she was browsing there today and couldn’t resist. They come in a wide array of colors too.
You should stop in at Pearl River on your next visit to NYC – they have really cool Chinese goods there including kitchenware, lanterns, traditional clothing (great Mandarin dresses), lighting, ceramics, fengshui novelty items and much more…
