The power of a beautiful powder room! The powder room or what some call a “half bath” is one room in your home where you can let your imagination run wild. I always love visiting friends’ homes or even touring new real estate to discover a unique powder room design. They’re usually small spaces that pack a punch. You can design your guest bathroom to be a beautifully neutral space for guests to feel comfortable. Or create a room that aims to be impressive with bold patterns and unique textures. I’ve rounded up 11 ideas for your powder room to spark some inspiration.
The first powder room of the round-up is the above bright and clean space designed by Ashe Leandro.

The latest trend in kitchen design is to forego upper cabinets. While scrolling on Pinterest, I’ve seen so many different kitchen designs that do not include upper cabinets. It got me thinking…do we actually need them? While upper cabinets can be sleek and white, they take up valuable real estate in the kitchen. This might not be a trend for design traditionalists to jump on. My first thought was “where do they keep their plates and glasses?” Interior designers are embracing this trend and creating kitchens that are just as open and inviting at eye level as the rest of the home. Of course, removing upper cabinets means paring down kitchenware, but minimalist approaches like those of London designer, Kerri Lipsitz, can be super helpful! Learn about the benefits of having a kitchen with no upper cabinets.

Now your average Brooklyn home tour. Every now and then a celebrity home makes me take a second look while scrolling through Instagram. Stranger Things star David Harbour, and British singer, Lily Allen, shared a tour of their Brooklyn townhouse. It’s a combination of New York charm with Italian glamour and traditional English designs. Every room incorporates unique vintage pieces and whimsical color schemes that most celebrity homes lack. It’s the complete opposite of the usual modern minimalistic sanctuary we see all over social media. The standout of the Brooklyn home tour is the romantic kitchen design. Take a look below.
January is the time that many people start looking for ways to refresh their homes and incorporate the latest interior design trends. One trend that is gaining popularity for 2023 is the idea that old is better than new. This trend celebrates the beauty and character of vintage and antique pieces, and encourages people to incorporate them into their modern spaces. Some creative ways include recycled stone and recovered furniture with vintage fabrics.
I discovered this small cozy kitchen in a 17th-century cottage that is featured above. The charming home is owned by Milli Proust, a floral designer in West Sussex. She wanted the country living experience. I love the kitchen design that features crafted cabinets from an old wardrobe left by previous owners. Learn more about the benefits of integrating vintage designs in modern interiors.
Finding the perfect piece of art can be difficult, but a custom piece will make any wall stand out. Luckily, I’m friends with a very talented artist, Sarah Robarts. I was looking for something modern that still complements my COCOCOZY style. When I came across Sarah’s acrylic murals and artwork I knew I needed a piece for my dining area. There was an empty wall that needed something to give it a “wow” factor. Thanks to Sarah, now I feel like the room is complete. Learn more about Sarah’s artwork and her career.

Bianca here! The Marketing Assistant at COCOCOZY, sharing some beautiful bookshelf inspiration. I am a bit of a bookworm and would love to style my personal at-home library one day. Bookshelves are an optimal place to decorate and show off individual styles. Aside from actual books, bookshelves are the perfect place to show off smaller decor pieces.
Personally, I love a classic sliding ladder on a bookshelf to add character. Having a bookcase or bookshelf in a room or place where you least expect it also adds a fun twist. Whether it is a hidden library or just a random room, having a shelf can bring a room together. Let’s take a look at some unique bookshelves for some inspiration below.

Marble is one of the most popular materials in kitchen design. Due to its rich veins and smooth finish, marble exudes luxury on any surface. Interior designer, Amanda Barnett Design, optimized this kitchen area and transformed it into a dreamy sanctuary. Barnett matched the Dogal marble backsplash with the kitchen island for a cohesive appearance. Adding a marble backsplash is a go-to design technique to elevate an outdated kitchen.
There’s something about cozy fall decor that gets us excited for the new season. Retailers are pushing out new soft throw blankets and different styles of pillows. But what about fall bathroom decor? Everyone loves to focus on living room and kitchen accessories. Who doesn’t love a new rustic cutting board or chic pumpkin pillow? Instead, let’s discuss fall bathroom ideas. The best part is that most autumn accessories can work in your bathroom too!
There’s nothing like enjoying a fresh cup of coffee in your soft yellow kitchen. Today’s interior inspiration is a Victorian-style London home that features an earthy modern kitchen. Interior designer, Pernille Lind, wanted an authentic home located in a city. The London flat needed a full remodel and a new layout, but Lind had a vision. My favorite design element is the redundant fireplace that transforms into a range hood. A unique technique to create more optimal counter space in a small kitchen. See more details below.
Fall trends usually include farmhouse decor, warm tones, and muted color palettes. However, a trend for this upcoming season is focusing specifically on earth tones. It creates a calming ambiance within a home. Designers are incorporating shades of blues, greens, oranges, and browns. They’re even going bolder and becoming more playful with combinations of colors to add character to their projects. Interior designer, Stephanie Sabbe, loves to include rich color palettes in her designs. Her Nashville project, called Woodmont, is the perfect home for fall inspiration. Her ability to layer earthy tones with rustic finishes transforms an old farmhouse into a charming family sanctuary.
Here is COCOCOZY’s guide to successfully adding earth tones to your home.
