AM’S PRETTY LITTLE GREEN ROOM – EAST HAMPTON DECOR

So…as I mentioned, I spent this past weekend in East Hampton visiting with sweet best of friend AM, her nice hubby JE and their cute kiddies in their amazing new Hamptons home!

One of the spaces I love in AM’s East Hamptons house is this pretty little jewel of a green garden room.  Cheerful, pretty, gem of a room in a bold color.  An enchanting cozy space…a wonderful corner in her lovely home.

I had sent AM a link on my story about painted wood tile floors from Mirth Studio a few months back (click here for story)…within minutes of receiving the email, and probably even before she closed on the house, AM was on the phone with the Mirth folks ordering painted wood floor tiles for this space! AM had a vision for this little porch space…a kelly green room with garden views.  Well it worked!

Decor on the room is still in progress AM says…but this is a sneak peek of how it is coming together.
Love it as is.  Nice work AM!

Additions to the room will be more seating, side table, coffee table and I think AM has some window coverings planned too.  A perfect little corner for reading, or snuggling up…I spent several hours on the phone in this little nook the other night chit chatting away.

Love this room AM & JE…can’t wait to come back to East Hampton later in the summer to see more!
