Live in a small apartment or a small cottage in the hills with absolutely no extra space to get a little work done. Well this picture from a Swedish apartment shows how easy it is to carve out a small wall for an apartment home office.
Start with finding any wall space…can be as small as 24 inches wide…find a nice writing desk with a good drawer or any table that fits that has enough depth for at least a laptop. Add a classic chair like this Thonet Bentwood Chair, rows and rows of floating shelves as high as you can go, some matching shelf organizers for storage and voila…you are good to go!

P.S. Speaking of Swedish friends…TE has lots of Swedish friends in town this week. We had a dinner last night at Soho House with OV and EV…and Saturday we will probably do another dinner with EE, ET and WT. So nice to meet so many people from Sweden in Los Angeles of all places!
