CUTE GREY LIVING ROOM RECREATE

January 12, 2015

tGrey living room

I like this cute grey living room from Toronto based interior designer Jodie Rosen.  Lots of texture and patterns with just the right amount of discreet color.  The shades of gray in the textiles work with the bright white walls and built-in shelving.  Very cute.  The wonderful architecture with the bay window and arch help too!

If you like the overall vibe, you just might ask “How do I get this look?”  I would definitely answer “Well see below”!

As soon as I looked at the picture, and before I read your post, I just knew this was a Canadian house, probably somewhere in Toronto.

    Very nicely done!

An easy fall tablescape you can actually recreate. An easy fall tablescape you can actually recreate. 🍂
You don’t need a perfectly styled table or a dozen new pieces to make a fall gathering feel special. Start with what you already have and layer in a few simple details.
Think woven placemats + simple white plates + gingham napkins + fresh greenery. Add clear glassware and a simple centerpiece, and you have a table that feels warm, collected, and ready for dinner with friends.
The best part? Most of these elements can work beyond fall, too. Just switch out the napkin pattern or greenery and you have a completely different look.
Save this for your next fall gathering and use it as a starting point for your own table. 🤎

The spaces that get it right pair it with warm oak, aged brass, and something worn-in: an antique dresser, a vintage runner, a hand-thrown vase.
