Happy New Year again! Happy new week! So excited to kick 2016 off. Thought the best way to begin the year here on the blog is with a week of bright and cheerful spaces. Rooms full of optimism and hope and that just look good! I am committing to bringing you the brightest of the bright rooms, homes, gardens and more out there for one week. Good way to set the tone I think!
First off is this bright country kitchen from photographer Annie Schlecter’s portfolio. I love everything about this kitchen! The architecture with the A-frame ceiling and the baby blue door and the paned windows is just great. All the touches make it just perfect. The custom white and stainless hood, the floor to ceiling subway tile feature walk, the marble farmhouse sink, the stainless steel appliances and the farm style table that serves as a kitchen island. The overall vibe is spot on. Only thing I would add are some great barstools so friends and family could sit and watch me in action in the kitchen while enjoying some lemonade, sparkling water or a wonderful glass of wine!
Love the cool white and misty blue grey palette too. Helps bring on the good cheer.
