This is our kitchen island and backsplash! The kitchen is still not finished at our Malibu home…it is a work in progress for sure…but I managed to take a photos of our kitchen by cropping out the unfinished areas. As you all probably know because I have mentioned it a million times, my guy TE and I are still in the middle of working with our contractor on the finishing touches of our home here in Southern California. We moved into the house at the beginning of August and there are still so many things to do.
One of the crown jewel areas of the home I love is the kitchen. We went with Caesarstone for the countertops and the backsplash. Caesarstone is made of quartz – a durable stone blend surface that really stands the wear and tear of time (I have Caesarstone counters in my other home in the Hollwyood Hills and have loved it for years). We chose Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo for our kitchen counters and love it. We like the fresh white stone with subtle but significant grey veins giving it a marble look.
Here is a sneak peek at our kitchen with a some white hydrangea in the mix!
Happy Monday!

P.S. TE and I went the The Broad museum in downtown Los Angeles this weekend. We had a great time. The museum is amazing- the architecture is stunning and the collection of contemporary art was fantastic. A wonderful cultural addition to downtown Los Angeles. I highly recommend. I will try to do a post on what we saw. Thanks sis DS for reserving us the tickets!!
I am in LOVE with your kitchen! So crisp and clean. Happy happy place to be.
That transition from counter top to counter… side. I love it! I’ve never seen a kitchen island like that before, and I haven’t even heard of the term “waterfall” before (in reference to a kitchen island), so clearly I have some research to do.
Your kitchen is STUNNING!
¡Fantásticos ambientes! con mucho estilo y personalidad.Muchas gracias por compartirlo con todos/as.
Beautiful Coco.
I am renovating my kitchen and I am using the same stone….just wondering what the white paint color you used to pair with the calacatto nuvo caesarstone/?
Thank you.
