Pretty Paris Apartment

September 29, 2015

paris apartment living room saintgermain

A luxe Paris apartment right on Boulevard Saint Germain…around the corner from the Seine, near museums like the Musee D’Orsay, and not far from the Tour Eiffel.  Perfectly positioned…located in the heart of the city of lights.

One very clever designer named Gerard Faivre has combined design and real estate into one business.  He makes “concept art homes” for sale…fully designed homes (not staged homes) that are ready to move in.

This lovely right in the center of Paris is one designed and sold by Faivre.  Smart man.  Maybe I’ll start designing COCOCOZY concept art homes?  Who knows…a next venture?  (Don’t worry mom, best of friend AM, sis DS and my guy TE, I am just kidding here…do not think I can add another project on my plate that you all will in turn have to hear about every minute…I am good for now!)

The only thing I do not know is the cost? Probably a gazillion dollars.

Would you want to move into a ready designed house with just your suitcases and a loaf of bread (gluten free bread)? Or would you want to shape and design a house yourself.

If the ready designed house looked like THIS, I would gladly move into it!

Interesting idea, and it is obviously successful. This place doesn’t look like a place someone would actually live, so much as “stay” from time to time and perhaps have meetings and do business related entertaining.

Great concept. For my taste, this apartment lacks depth, a bit boring.

The apartment is sleek and beautiful, but in my view, a trifle soulless. There’s nothing I enjoy more than creating a new environment, especially for myself.

A well-designed bunk room isn’t just for kids. It’s about making every guest feel like they got the best bed in the house. Built-in storage, thoughtful lighting, and bedding that actually makes you want to climb up top.
Save this for your next build or renovation inspo and follow for more. 🖤

This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎 This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎
Designer Ashley Montgomery layered reclaimed wood beams, brass hardware, and deep walnut millwork against soft plaster walls, and somehow every single room still feels calm. The olive built-ins in the living room, the arched oak doors, that brass shower enclosure in the primary bath... this is what happens when someone actually commits to a palette.

How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️
I flew from Los Angeles to Nantucket for a very quick trip and I’m planning to find out.
Beautiful beaches, boats, gorgeous interiors, time with friends and one last little dose of August.
Turns out you don’t always need a whole week to feel like you got away. 🤍
So happy to be visiting bestie @francesgfayard and her husband Calvin and my godson Carter for a little last minute end of summer travel. New England at its best. Day 1 was a beautiful day. 🤩
You are not going to feel motivated every day. AndYou are not going to feel motivated every day. And you don’t have to.
Some days you’ll feel inspired and everything seems to click. Other days, you’ll question what you’re doing and wonder if any of it is actually working.
The important thing is not to mistake a slow day for a step backward.
You can keep going even when the motivation isn’t there. Some days, showing up is the progress.
Save this for the days when you need the reminder. 🤍

The best parts of Paris might not be on your itineThe best parts of Paris might not be on your itinerary. 🇫🇷
Some of my favorite travel moments are the ones you don’t plan: the pretty street you turn onto, the café you notice while walking by, the building you stop to look at for no particular reason.
So if you’re planning a Paris trip, don’t fill every hour. Leave room to wander.
