interiorsPlates have a natural visual rhythm.
Their circular shapes soften the straight lines of cabinetry, shelving, windows, and millwork. Their patterns can introduce color without requiring a major commitment. And because plates are available in so many different styles, they can work with almost any interior.
Blue-and-white porcelain feels classic and collected. Botanical plates bring a garden-like quality indoors. Hand-painted ceramics can make a room feel more personal and artistic. Even a simple white plate can add texture when displayed as part of a larger collection.
The trick is to think of the plates as artwork first and dinnerware second.

homeThere is something about a beautifully set table that makes an ordinary meal feel like an occasion.
You don’t need a formal dining room, a cabinet full of heirloom china, or a reason to celebrate. Sometimes all it takes is a linen tablecloth, a few candles, fresh flowers, and a little thought.
For me, the best tablescapes are never the ones that look overly perfect. They feel collected, relaxed, and inviting. A little bit of old mixed with something new. Beautiful linens next to everyday dishes. Flowers that look as though they were gathered that morning.
In other words, the table should feel like an extension of the home.
Here are a few simple ways to create an effortlessly elegant tablescape that feels beautiful without feeling fussy.
There is always that one detail that quietly brings a room together. More often than not, it is the bookshelf.
When thoughtfully styled, a bookshelf does more than hold books. It adds structure, softness, and personality. It fills vertical space in a way that feels intentional and lived in, not staged.
If you have been looking for ways to elevate your space, understanding bookshelf styling is one of the simplest and most impactful places to start. These interiors show how the right balance of books, objects, and negative space can make a room feel complete.

interiorsThere is a shift happening with boho interiors. It feels quieter, more grounded, and more intentional than before. The overly layered look is giving way to something softer. Spaces still feel collected, but now there is a sense of calm that makes them easier to live in.
If you have been searching for modern boho interior design ideas, this is where the style is heading. It is less about filling a space and more about choosing pieces that bring warmth, texture, and meaning.
Below, we are breaking down the elements that define this more elevated take on boho and how you can bring it into your own home.
interiorsStaircases are no longer just functional transitions between floors. They have become one of the most defining design moments in a home, and the best staircase design ideas prove just how transformative they can be. Whether softly sculptural or architecturally bold, a well-designed staircase can set the tone for your entire space.
Lately, there is a noticeable shift. Staircase design ideas are leaning more intentional and expressive. Stairs are being treated like art. Curves feel softer, materials feel warmer, and every detail from railings to lighting is considered. If you have ever overlooked your staircase, this might be your sign to rethink it.
A well-designed room doesn’t rely on color alone. What truly brings a space to life is texture: the quiet interplay of materials that draw you in. From the softness of linen to the richness of wood grain, each layer adds warmth and depth, making a home feel complete.
Here are a few ways to master the art of layering textures, the COCOCOZY way.

I went to Martha’s Vineyard a couple of weeks ago and spent around three weeks there. Everything was amazing, including the house I was staying at. While at Martha’s Vineyard, I also got to see my friends Peter and Randi Farmsworth’s newly renovated home. It is a 4,200 square feet property, with five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The interior designer of the home is Louise Barzilay. She also runs an amazing leather jacket business! Also, big thanks to the photographer, Arletta Charter, for these wonderful pictures.
Randi’s house there went through some major transformations that I thought had to be shown. It is spectacular!
