interiors While most people are attracted to the “all-white” look. There are interior design rebels that aren’t afraid of an all-black room. The concept of using black paint can be scary. And when it’s done right, it never goes unnoticed. Here are 9 black rooms that will get you inspired.

interiors Today’s interior inspiration is not an average southern pad. It’s a dreamy family home located in Birmingham, Alabama. The home sits hillside of Red Mountain, an area with a rich history of steel industrialists. Interior designer, Jeffrey Dungan, decided to purchase the property to transform it into his dream home for his family. He wanted to design a unique space that is calming but also pays homage to the 19th-century iron ore mining district.
Dungan didn’t take on the project alone. He asked designer friends Grant Trick, Betsy Brown, and Michelle Cone. Trick designed the primary bathroom that features steel and glass windows with a soft bench for modern elegance.
