interiors I don’t know about you, but I can look at kitchen designs all day. Take a look inside this modern Mediterranean kitchen design. The 1921 San Francisco home was in need of a makeover. Thanks to interior designer, Regan Baker, the kitchen got the upgrade it deserved. The kitchen features brass finishes that gives the kitchen a more luxurious look. Baker originally wanted to design a more vibrant kitchen. However, she found herself attracted to more softer and timeless elements. Leading her to choose the beautiful mint green color for the cabinets. The design process started in 2019 and was completed after 3 months.
Regan Baker’s mission is to transform ordinary homes into spaces that reflect her client’s personality and lifestyle. She is also passionate about highlighting black women’s art in her designs. In this project, she used mixed-media work by Marie Alexander, Tawny Chatmon’s Renaissance-influenced photography, an oil portraiture by Lauren Pearce, and original collage pieces by Christa David. Baker’s kitchen design is breathtaking.

interiors There’s something about the warmer months that makes me crave cozy sunroom design. There just something so romantic about having a tucked-away seating area to host guests when the sunsets. Or having a morning coffee before the sun has warmed up the outdoors yet! Today’s amazing interior is the getaway home of Alex Bates founder of Flint & Kent and Bloomist who also designed the space. Located on Fire Island this space is the perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Fire Island is on the southern shore of Long Island. Just over a one-hour drive and quick boat ride, this space is easy to get to and incredibly serene. Since everyone arrives by boat there are few cars and everyone bikes or walks around town.
interiors I’m not sure how I haven’t shared this Casamidy San Miguel de Allende house tour yet. Casamidy is an incredible design studio that creates furniture, lighting, and tabletop items that are metal prominent. Back in the spring of 2019 the founders Jorge Almada and Anne-Marie Midy, so kindly invited me and a few of my close girlfriends to stay in their San Miguel de Allende home. We had such a great time staying in their beautiful home and exploring everything San Miguel de Allende has to offer.

home Styled by Swedish-based freelance interior design stylist, Linnéa H. Manaberi, this contemporary minimalist bedroom is full of Scandinavian flair. Known for neutral colors and clean lines, this room takes an interesting approach to minimalism that is unexpected. The architecture of this room is muted and minimal with eggshell walls, soft white molding, and weathered light wood floors. With such a blank canvas, the furniture and accessories are really what brings this room to life.

Get ready to explore maximalism and color in a whole new light. Minimalism move over, maximalism is here. Inspired by ABC Home‘s latest design inspiration we are exploring a handful of spaces that are anything but minimal and are infinitely more exciting. The concept of maximalism is rooted in the idea that your home should be a reflection of who you are, which doesn’t always equate to owning more “things”. It means surrounding yourself with colors, furniture, and select items that feel like home. Whether that means you want a bright blue sofa or a bold wall of books, it’s truly up to you.
