Today’s interior inspiration is all about the perfect summer home. I discovered it last week while waiting at the airport. You all know I love doors. It’s one of my weaknesses in architectural design. And this door is blue! So I had to take a look inside this home. I’m happy I did!

The Florida residence was designed by Jake Arnold. He helped design this home for a Palm Beach hotel developer. The exterior features stucco-clad and a stepped roof. The owner wanted it to mimic Bermudian architecture. I would never want to leave this gorgeous pad. See more rooms below.

Did you know Brooklyn is larger than Manhattan? In fact, it’s three times bigger than Manhattan. I just learned this and my mind is blown. Speaking of Brooklyn, interior designer Jenna Chused renovated her spacious Brooklyn apartment. She’s the designer behind the firm Chused & Co. Her apartment is elegant and full of natural light. Her design style is unique, which is why I thought I share it with all of you.

One of the stand-out rooms in this spacious Brooklyn apartment is the kitchen. What initially looks like another white kitchen is actually incredibly unique. Chused mixes textures and color palettes that you don’t normally see in a NY kitchen.

Hues of blue are never boring. Celebrity interior designer, Sheila Bridges, has incorporated different colors in her projects for years. One of my favorite things about her designs is the way she plays around with prints and patterns. I noticed while browsing her portfolio is her love for the color blue. Almost all of her projects have at least one room with color. And they never look the same. Depending on the style you are going for, blue can set the tone and elevate your space. Here are some of my favorite blue rooms by Bridges below!

The photo above is her kitchen from her Harlem project. It features fun and custom patterns that compliment the light blue color. She loves to work with rich colors. Her design aesthetic is using Harlem toile and styling it with something unexpected.

Is pink the new gray in interior design? Back in June, I did a post about pink interiors. Now it’s March and I’m seeing a rise of pink hues on my Instagram feed. It’s not everyone’s go-to color when decorating their home. However, pink can transform a space in various ways. Use lighter hues for a more elegant and chic look. If you want something rich and sophisticated, then go for a deep pink/reddish hue.

The room above was designed by my friends @bexmarie + @raskindphoto of Renouveau Hom. They renovated a Spanish-style home in Leimert Park. The home is full of life with vibrant patterns and colors. It’s a fun home to explore because it’s unlike anything you’ve seen in Los Angeles. The house feels playful and whimsical without being overwhelming. The pink bathroom is one of my favorite rooms in the house. The combination of different pink tones and rose gold fixtures makes for the perfect bathroom design.

There’s nothing that feels more like spring than a table full of fresh flowers, earthy tones, and linen fabrics beautifully arranged on an outdoor table. The perk of having my own courtyard is being able to throw lavish spring dinner parties. And an added bonus is the great weather in California.  I love sitting down and brainstorming table concepts and ideas. If you’re feeling ready to start hosting again then this guide of spring table decor is for you. I’ve gathered everything from tablecloths to serveware to help you throw the perfect spring dinner party at your home.

I saw this bathroom on Instagram. The tub is set in a nook. It’s like your own sanctuary within your bathroom. Interior Designers from Roman and Williams Guild, Stephen Alesch, and Robin Standefer, designed this bathroom for their Brooklyn home. It features nature-like wallpaper that is also used in their living room. Its tree branches and floral details make the home feel enchanting. It almost feels like you’re in a dreamy forest. However, the bathroom is the true star of their home. From the black tub to the brass fixtures, it’s a beautiful design.

Say goodbye to warm tones and bright colors in 2021. Black interiors are taking over the interior design world. Everyone has their own design style. Some people don’t like the all-white kitchen trend. Or the rustic neutral farmhouse looks that we’ve been seeing all over the internet. Personally, I have found myself steering away from bright white rooms. I’m not saying that I’m going to be painting my walls charcoal tomorrow. However, there is something that makes me go “WOW” when I see a dramatic black room.

Black is classic. Although, most people stay away from it when they’re decorating their home. It can change the tone of a room from playful to sophisticated. While on a deep dive, I discovered beautiful dark rooms that I think you all should see.
