Get Inspired: White Marble Kitchen with a European Twist

March 7, 2022
  • Share

When you are looking for kitchen inspiration there are only a few design styles that are timeless. One of those design styles is the classic white marble kitchen. Some designers have become opposed to replicating another white kitchen. However, if you’re looking to elevate your space and don’t have a budget to remodel your kitchen every five to ten years, then a classic white marble kitchen is your safest choice.

While on a deep dive for the perfect white marble kitchen I found Hanne Gathe’s design. It has a European twist that I think is worth sharing. It’s not your average white kitchen. It features soft neutral hues and a juxtaposition of old and new. I love a balance of modern and vintage design. That reminds me… I haven’t gone on a hunt for vintage pieces and antiques in a while. I always love discovering new vintage pieces.

3 Ways to Elevate Your Kitchen on a Budget

January 20, 2022

Getting motivated to take on a new project is difficult…I know! A new year means a fresh start. Most people spend January focusing on themselves and being healthier in the new year. I think your environment is also important. Set the mood for the year with an updated kitchen. Remodeling a kitchen can be expensive. Although, kitchens are the best room to renovate to increase resell value–sometimes it’s just not financially feasible to drop thousands of dollars on remodeling your kitchen. The kitchens that we see on social media are usually luxurious and use high-quality finishes. Just because you don’t have the time or money to do a full renovation now, doesn’t mean we can’t give our kitchens a less invasive facelift. I’ve searched the internet for the best tips and tricks to easily enhance your kitchen in 2022.

28 Items You Need in Your Kitchen for Thanksgiving

November 9, 2021
  • Share

If your family is anything like mine, then they’re always gathered around in the kitchen for Thanksgiving. It doesn’t matter the occasion. I always try to create a beautiful tablescape to host my guests, but they somehow always end up in the kitchen. Does this happen to anyone else? It makes sense since a kitchen is the heart of the home. And it’s also where the food is…LOL.

I’m starting to prep for Thanksgiving. I’ve been looking for tablescape essentials, home decor, and last-minute kitchen accessories. I was thinking about setting up a coffee, espresso, and tea bar in the kitchen. People always enjoy a treat after dinner. Personally, I love a warm cup of tea at night. It’s the perfect way to end my day. While shopping for myself, I’ve gathered some Thanksgiving essentials for all of you.

Anything but a White Kitchen – 8 Amazing Colorful Kitchens

August 31, 2021
  • Share

Kitchen trends are changing again and now, anything but a white kitchen is in. While white kitchens are still incredibly popular and have been over the last few years, it seems like alternative kitchen color palettes are everywhere. Navy, taupe, beige, green, you name it, it’s in, and they are here to stay.

The kitchen above, designed by Shavonda Gardner, is beautifully unique. Shavonda, a California based blogger and interior designer, used deep red cabinetry, dark grey soapstone counters, khaki colored ceramic brick tailes for the backsplash, amazing yellow floral wallpaper, gold sconces, and a gold pot holder rod across the wall from end to end. She mixes and matches colors that aren’t normally used in the kitchen. Shavonda’s kitchen is chic, stylish, bold and totally not white. This is my pick for “stand out kitchen of the year” actually. I love it.

With that said, we now bring you more not-so-white-kitchens – a trend that is taking over kitchen design.

Today is all about vintage kitchen charm! The other day I was going through my saved inspiration images and kept noticing a handful of vintage-style kitchens and thought what a great post idea. Since we are all spending a lot more time cooking at home, we could also use a bit of fresh kitchen interior inspiration. I know my kitchen could use a few new accessories to really make it pop. I can’t wait to share these great interiors with you.
