Sea Grass Wingback Chair
Pottery Barn – Sea Grass Wingback Chair – $499 (above)

I like a good wingback chair.  I remember my first roommate out of college had one – RK was from Newport, RI and I think I recall her having a rather preppy wingback chair that she brought to our apartment in Boston.

Even the smallest of wingback chair is a little large for my tiny tiny cottage in the Hollywood Hills…but one day, I’ll have room for a rather grand pair of wing chairs.

In today’s CHEAP TO CHIC, I bring you the top 10 wing chairs out there today!

Wingback chair with soft curves, solid wood legs with chocolate stain finish
West Elm – Ellery Chair – $499 (Wingback chair with soft curves, solid wood legs with chocolate stain finish)(above)

Z Gallerie – Eddie Accent Chair – White – $1,299 (White leather wing back chair nailhead trim)
Belgian linen wingback chair

Small wingback chair with cabriole wood legs. Nail head trim
Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams – Juliette Chair – starts at $1630 (Small wingback chair with cabriole wood legs. Nail head trim)(above)
Simply Baker Ayer Wing Chair
Cabana Home – Simply Baker Ayer Wing Chair – $2352 (above)
Steel base modern wing-back chair
Unica Home – Park Lounge Chair – $2817 (Steel base modern wing-back chair)(above)
Gray velvet wingback light wood legs
South of Market – Pair of Noella Wing Chairs – $5980 for 2 (Gray velvet, light wood legs) (above)
Muslin upholstered wingback chair
Oly Studio – Halden Chair – $3525 (As shown upholstered in muslin. Base comes in a variety of finishes) (above)
Feather grey hide upholstered wing back chair
Alice Lane Home – Brindle Hide Chair – $3695 (Feather grey hide upholstered wing back chair)(above)

Do you like this style of chair?  If so, which is your favorite? I would have to go with the grey Noella chair.  Which do you prefer?

Happy Tuesday!

I think you get the most bang for your buck with the West Elm chair. Well designed, nice lines, and the most expensive fabric option tops out at only $599.

Love the PB one for a more laid back house or beach house and the RH one is a classic.

Great selection…I have a grey-brown velvet wingback that’s very similar to the South of Market chair (mine’s the Hamlin Chair by Sam Moore). I love it!

A 90s home in Amman, Jordan, entirely remodelled by local artisans. Neo-Florentine bones, Levant-eclectic sensibility, arched passageways, and a flea-market-meets-commissioned-art collection that makes every wall feel intentional.
What makes it work: restraint where you’d expect excess, and boldness where you’d expect safety.
This is what happens when a home is built by people who actually know the place. 🖤
Save this, it’s a masterclass in culturally rooted design.

If you only have 10 minutes, focus on these three things:
1. Make the bed. It instantly makes the whole room look cleaner.
2. Fold or straighten the throw blanket and pillows.
3. Clear visible clutter from nightstands and the floor.
That’s it. Those three steps make the biggest visual impact without deep cleaning.

Black is not a bold choice. It’s a neutral, and one of the most versatile ones in design.
The rooms that get it right treat black the same way others treat white or greige: as a foundation that lets everything else breathe. The texture of the wall. The warmth of the wood. The drama of the marble. Black doesn’t compete, it amplifies.
Save this the next time someone talks you out of going dark. 🖤

Life when I’m offline. 🎣 On this trip to Park CitLife when I’m offline. 🎣
On this trip to Park City, UT, I was way off line with a little fly fishing. No emails. No DMs. No feed. Just a rod, a beautiful river, and however long it takes to catch something.
Running two brands means my brain rarely stops so when it does, it really does.
No fish were harmed. All fish were returned into the river.
What do you do when you log off? Comment and let's give each other some ideas!😀
