In the news last week: former super model Cindy Crawford Malibu house is for sale at $15.5 million! On COCOCOZY this week: the real news alert is that after an hour of searching on the interweb, I found pictures of the house before she renovated it! Woohooo…a Malibu before and after.
In light of the fact that my guy TE and I are working on our Malibu remodel project for our future home in the tony beach city, I am obsessed with all things Malibu real estate. TE and I found our house over a year ago and have been working on it since closing on it last summer. Hope is to move in this July. Fingers crossed.
Anyhoooo…according to the Los Angeles Times, looks Cindy and hubby of 17 years Rande Gerber bought this Point Dume house for a mere $6 million back in 2013…not to live in but to flip. $6 million dollar house flipping??? What? Well that’s the way things go in Malibu.
The house at 28724 Grayfox Street was built in 1958 and is listed by Coldwell Banker agent Chris Cortazzo.
Before, the house was 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3,651 square feet on 1.5 acres. Outdated decor.
After the house is 4 bedrooms, 5 baths in 5,400 square feet. Fully updated with ocean views and all.
The listing says the renovated house was designed by the owners and was renovated in 2014-2015. Quite a quick renovation project that totally transformed the space into an elegant beach home sitting on 1.5 acres.
Take a look at the before and after of Cindy Crawford’s reported house flip!
According to reports, Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber also closed on a $50 million dollar property in Malibu right next to their existing home. Wonder if they plan on flipping that?
Happy Monday!

P.S. Had a nice day in Malibu with my mom this past weekend. TE is out of town but I went out to our renovation project to check on progress. Things are moving along. Will have a report for you on that later this week.
What was going on with that kitchen before? Were those office chairs at the counter? Cindy definitely made a huge improvement!
Love the transformation and if I had to say my favourite thing it would be those wooden bar stools in the kitchen.
The opening in the floor of the master bedroom concerns me a bit but is certainly beautiful!
Great post dear!
