CLOUD SHAPED COFFEE TABLES!

March 2, 2010

Three oak coffee tables in the shape of clouds
fashion4home – Clouds Coffee Table Set – $439 (Set of three oak veneer tables in the shape of clouds)(above)

I think this coffee table set is cute. Would love it if they came in white (they don’t btw). Could be good for a modern family room or den. Anyhooo…trying to avoid any cloud related cliches in this post…like “on cloud 9” or “keep head out of clouds” or “every dark cloud/silver lining”…you get the picture! Keeping this short so that I save myself from myself! 🙂 Oy.

What do you think of these cloud tables?

P.S. Hope you have a good day!

They are less playful than I expected when I heard “cloud coffee table.” I like them actually. I think they would also work well in white….especially in a really colorful room.

hmmmm. I’m not quite sure yet. I think if they were paired with an antique sofa they could be pretty fun. I think with all modern furniture it would get super cliche!

hmmm. yes. I kinda like em!

Is it wrong that I think they look like Mickey Mouse ears? 🙂

Agree, these are interesting – they might look good attached to a wall – or made in another material (eg stone/hard wearing wood) for use outdoors.. especially as the shadows they cast are so curiously cool.

I think they are very cute! And could easily be jazzed up a bit for a kids room with some paint…

I like them too…different and whimsical! Be very nice in a family room in front of a large sectional. Also practical for improvised and occasional :)) family dinner in front of a movie.

I think these pieces are inspirational. And they look sort of designer, like you would have spent waaaay more than $400. I would put it in a room and shine a few spot lights from different directions, thus casting interesting shadows all over the floor.

I like the idea of bringing shadows to the cloud coffee table.
This feels retro. Maybe add some brightly colored shag carpeting and bean bag chairs for a cozy child’s play room…
