COCOCOZY FOR CAPEL RUGS 2015

March 10, 2015

cococozy capel rugs

The other day the kind folks at Capel Rugs sent me the pages for their 2015 catalog featuring my COCOCOZY rugs collection! So exciting to see my designs laid out in such a prestigious catalog. These are a few of the pages from the Capel catalog that showcase COCOCOZY.  The pages include a story about the COCOCOZY brand, photos of the rugs,  a photo of me standing on my “Ring” rug in grey and a picture of a random cute dog on a tan “Quatrefoil” rug.

For those of you who don’t know, about 3 years ago, I partnered with Capel Rugs, the oldest rug company in America, to design a collection of super luxurious Indo-Tibetan hand knotted wool rugs. I love these rugs. I sent them my designs and colors and Capel took care of the rest. Capel is an amazing company and I am so proud of the collection we have produced.

Last week, I showed you a room my best of friend AM is working on in her NYC apartment that has a COCOCOZY Lyrical Rug in it.  Was so excited that AM chose to buy a COCOCOZY rug for her posh NYC flat.  AM has used a lot of COCOCOZY pillows and fabrics over the years in her decor.  For me, the rug in her sitting area is one of my favorite uses.

Two of my favorite rugs are the Ring and Lyrical in grey.

Which of these new rugs do you like the best?  Could you see COCOCOZY in your home?

I think TE and I will use the Ring in Grey somewhere in the new place in Malibu.

Happy Tuesday!

P.S.  Yesterday we celebrated big sis DS’s birthday at wonderful dinner at Mr. Chow.  Cousin AB was there with DS, DC, TE, and MC.  Really lovely dinner.  My sister seemed very happy and we all had a great time.  Very Los Angeles birthday though.  We sat next to Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne and were photographed by paparazzi on the way out.  If you can believe it, the paparazzi sent us the photos this morning.  Sis DS looked adorable…I looked a little beleaguered.  Note to self, have stylist, hair and make up done when going out to dinner in Los Angeles!  Not really practical I guess…but those pictures got me thinking…hmmmm….

Designed by @bychenai, a prolific and talented London based wedding and events planner, this wedding is a study in thoughtful design and artful creative direction. We say well done Chenai!
Long tables arranged in a maze-like formation created a striking design, while still allowing 350 guests to move throughout the space. A rich brown and gold palette brought warmth and depth, paired with refined tabletops and lush floral centerpieces.
