COCOCOZY FIND: LUSTROUS URBAN CHIC PENDANT LIGHTS!

September 9, 2011
  • Share
silver punched metal pendant lights from Zenza

Love these silver pounded punched metal pendant lights from Dutch furniture company Zenza. Just the right amount of luster on these hanging lights…not too silver and shiny and not to matte. Modern Moroccan in style to me…a little dose of these in any decor could work to add some visual texture and cool mood lighting.  The simpler ones like the light shown below are definitely urban chic I think.

Perfect for over a dining table, in a hallway, over a kitchen island, or great lighting if you had a small powder room to illuminate!

Filisky Silver Lamp
Lemonlu London – Filisky Silver Lamp – $388 (above)

What do you think? Where could you see these lights used? Could you ever see these in your style of home?  Take or leave?  Be honest!

Happy Friday!

I have LOVED these since the first time I saw them on Sarah Richardson’s website a while back. I think one would look great in a powder room…depending on the size of it and the room.

The one in the forefront is absolutely stunning.

How serendipitous! I just spent the day searching for these pendant lights on La Brea. No where to be found. Had my eyes on these for the dining room for quite some time. Especially like the lamp bol filigrain on the Zenza site. Do you know if these exist anywhere in Los Angeles? Or do they ship to the US?

    Thanks for the post,
    Naz

what i love about these is the contradiction they project… The come across as modern, but also have a worldly appeal to them. Mediterranean or Moroccan like you said…

Its pretty rare to like *only-one-particular-style*. Usually we are a mix of various styles… And, i love this b/c it has that perfect mix of modern but traditional/old world/ethnic feel… brilliantly beautiful!

Some of my favorite travel moments are the ones you don’t plan: the pretty street you turn onto, the café you notice while walking by, the building you stop to look at for no particular reason.
So if you’re planning a Paris trip, don’t fill every hour. Leave room to wander.

So today, I took my work somewhere else. ☕️💻
A little change of scenery, a different view, a few hours away from my usual desk and somehow the workday felt a little lighter.
I’ve found that working somewhere else can be a nice reset when I’m feeling stuck, uninspired, or just too used to the same routine. It’s not necessarily about being more productive; sometimes it’s just about making the day feel different.

Designer Emma Donnersberg took her own Paris apartment in the 7th arrondissement and used it to rewrite the rules — classical bones, contemporary everything else. Her Wave Sofa and U&Me Table anchor the living room in organic curves. In the kitchen, a green ceramic-wrapped island does the heavy lifting for color against all that neutral stone. And the dining room? A Carrara travertine fireplace that turns stone into the whole point of the room.
Curved, curated, and completely hers. 🤍
