COCOCOZY GIVEAWAY: AND THE WINNERS ARE…!

June 15, 2012

COCOCOZY Logo throw and gift box

Thank you to all of you who entered the COCOCOZY Giveaway earlier this week! Almost 250 of you entered.

I so enjoyed reading all of your comments. Thank you for taking the time to write such wonderful entries. Some of the comments were so sweet, others were quite entertaining and some were very practical and straight to the point (I like a reader who knows what she wants)!

As promised, I picked two people who commented on the giveaway post and and also followed on COCOCOZY Pinterest to each win one (1) COCOCOZY Logo Throw.

So here are the 2 winners and their comments…

H.D.O – “Orange throw please! We would take this sweet number on our adventures throughout the summer, star-gazing in the backyard, beach bonfires overlooking Puget Sound, and snuggling up to outdoor movies projected on the garage. Then when fall arrives, we’ll all move indoors with this lovely throw.”

Emily Ginnel – “I would love to use this beautiful thorw in my new living room, my fiance and I just recently re-located to Boston and am busy decorating our new apartment. Your logo is one of my favorite design logos, simple yet sophisticated, will add a lot as an accent piece to any room. I visit your blog everyday!”

Congratulations!!!!! Woot woot! Yay! Congrats!

H.D.O and Emily, please email me at [email protected] so I can get your contact information!

For those of you who didn’t win, let’s see…trying to figure out some kind words that will make you feel better…uh…uh…hmmm…well uhm…how about this…”who needs a throw any way?”  or “throw schmow” or “if at first you don’t succeed try try again” or “whistle while you work” (wait strike that one)…hmmm…none of those are quite right…so for now I’ll say thank you for reading COCOCOZY and joining in!

Happy Friday!

P.S. Some comments on the giveaway comments below…

P.P.S. R Wood you get an honorable mention. I loved your comment with all the P.S.s! A woman after my own heart. Tell BB he needs to know about COCOCOZY!

P.P.P.S. Marieke…thank you for your very nice comment. 🙂

P.P.P.P.S. Andrea B. hope you have a great summer at your lake house. Great comment.

P.P.P.P.P.S. Michelle Hudak your comment about your husband keeping the house at “meat locker” temperatures made me laugh! 🙂

P.P.P.P.P.P.S. BASIL I loved reading your first answer and then your revision…I would keep it for myself too! 🙂

P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Sally…glad to hear your back bedroom is newly decorated…you painted a cute picture of your hubby curled up with no blanket…!

P.P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S. You remember how I made a donation to one of my favorite charities, A Place Called Home, on the same day I announced the giveaway…well I got a sweet call from the head of fundraising there that same day (he saw my online donation and decided to reach out)…he called to say thanks for the donation and to give me an update on the wonderful organization. Was so happy to hear from him and hear about all of the developments at A Place Called Home. It’s funny…how giving back and giving away can make you feel so good.

Thanks, Coco! BB just said, “If you didn’t win, it wasn’t meant to be your throw.” Rude ass husband. Just realized I called your logo throw a “greek key throw” in my comment. Not sure why. That was silly. Anyway- keep up the good work and please do another contest one day!

This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎 This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎
Designer Ashley Montgomery layered reclaimed wood beams, brass hardware, and deep walnut millwork against soft plaster walls, and somehow every single room still feels calm. The olive built-ins in the living room, the arched oak doors, that brass shower enclosure in the primary bath... this is what happens when someone actually commits to a palette.

How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️
I flew from Los Angeles to Nantucket for a very quick trip and I’m planning to find out.
Beautiful beaches, boats, gorgeous interiors, time with friends and one last little dose of August.
Turns out you don’t always need a whole week to feel like you got away. 🤍
So happy to be visiting bestie @francesgfayard and her husband Calvin and my godson Carter for a little last minute end of summer travel. New England at its best. Day 1 was a beautiful day. 🤩
You are not going to feel motivated every day. AndYou are not going to feel motivated every day. And you don’t have to.
Some days you’ll feel inspired and everything seems to click. Other days, you’ll question what you’re doing and wonder if any of it is actually working.
The important thing is not to mistake a slow day for a step backward.
You can keep going even when the motivation isn’t there. Some days, showing up is the progress.
Save this for the days when you need the reminder. 🤍

Some of my favorite travel moments are the ones you don’t plan: the pretty street you turn onto, the café you notice while walking by, the building you stop to look at for no particular reason.
So if you’re planning a Paris trip, don’t fill every hour. Leave room to wander.

So today, I took my work somewhere else. ☕️💻
A little change of scenery, a different view, a few hours away from my usual desk and somehow the workday felt a little lighter.
I’ve found that working somewhere else can be a nice reset when I’m feeling stuck, uninspired, or just too used to the same routine. It’s not necessarily about being more productive; sometimes it’s just about making the day feel different.
A little workday change of scenery with me. 🤍
Would you take your work somewhere else for the day?
