I like the color of this kitchen – it is not your usual brown or white cabinetry but it works! If I had a country house I might paint the cabinets a soothing soft cornflower blue. The high vaulted ceilings work for me too!
Happy Thursday!

Though this is a fresh look, cornflower blue does tend to take me back to the 70’s, along with harvest gold and avocado green.
Cornflower blue is such a pretty colour 🙂 I love the subtle purple undertone.
The vaulted ceilings are fantastic and love the vent hood. The huge island is pretty great too 🙂
This is fabulous! The cornflower hue is subtle so it doesn’t shout out at you – just hangs back being lovely.
Wow. I don’t think I would spend time in any other room of the house.
Love Sherrill Canet’s work – her book is (one of many) on my Christmas list. Love the vaulted ceiling – and I love cornflower blue – I think it works here because of all the light and space.
Love the light fixtures, any idea where they are from?
I would kill for that spacious of a kitchen – wow! Cabinet space galore. A great space to share with friends and family, love it!

Where are the pendant lights from?
You’ve found my dream kitchen!!!! That ceiling is amazing too!
I was almost forgetting… Talking about “amazing”, Heidi Klum and Seal just bought a new house in La. You need to take a look. I think you’d love the Italian rose gardens.

Cornflower blue has always reminded me of a country farmhouse. It works well in this kitchen and stands out in a subtle way against the neutral walls and beautiful ceiling woodwork. I also like the use of different shades by putting a darker blue paint on the island cabinets.
I love this colour for this kitchen! The high ceilings are beautiful too- I especially love where they put the clock =]
