Still loving grey. It has become a staple neutral in home decor and always a go to in fashion and on the runway – on walls or cabinets, upholstery and fabric, in the bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room or den, for jackets, skirts, pants, tops and dresses…grey goes all the way in making a room or a look feel elegant and modern at the same time.
In honor of fall and the winter months to come, styling with grey today…in home and in fashion!

I like grey.
Love the Cynthia Steffe jumpers and the casual tweed urban chic of the Rag & Bone collection. Style at its best.
As far as rooms go…I like the dark charcoal grey room with the purple sofas…moody, modern and chic!
Which is your favorite?
Happy Tuesday to you. I have a busy day ahead!

P.S. I think I’m getting a cold. Not feeling well. Yikes. All of this hot Southern California weather mixed with freezing air conditioned temperatures in doors. Oh no…
When I was a little girl, I would tell people my favorite color was grey. It is still true. I was ahead of my time! 😉
We are remodeling our kitchen and just painted a dark charcoal grey accent wall. I love it. It looks so good with the white cabinets. Great post! Thanks!
What a great collection of gray. I just love Rag and Bone’s Fall 2010 collection.
I love the third photo by Jeff McNamara with the blue and black abstract painting behind the bed. Gorgeous color combination. I especially like how they used the 2 corner mirrors to keep light reflecting and visually enlarge the room. Gorgeous collection of pictures. Thanks!
I’m loving the one with the bright pink coffee table I think gray does a good job of allowing colors to show themselves while being neutral but not bland like white or depressing the space like black.
Hard to pick a fave, but definitely love the Parisian salon with the purples couches and dark walls…c’est si bon.

Def the dramatic bedroom with mirrored screens and colorful abstract art. Sexy!

Oh goodness I nearly fell out of my seat at those purple sofas. I then went on to stalk the photographer and absolutely died at some of his stuff. Thanks!
I’ve had gray on the walls for about 5 years. I’m going for that first photo look. I’m a little tired of orange and yellow with it. Thanks for your GREAT and inspiring posts. I just love this blog.
Oooh, I love grey. My faves are the first room and the one with the hot pink coffee table! I love the mix of calm with colorful and playful!
LOVE the punch of yellow with the soothing grey palette! Eric Cohler has some beautiful fabrics with this color combination, I love it!
Grey is probably my favorite neutral. Wonderfully calming and not harsh. Especially a good medium tone, not too dark, not too light.
I like all of them except the kitchen, too industrial.
This post rocked my world, by the way. As different as some of the rooms were, I loved them ALL! (some of those runway dresses were cute, too!!) j’adore.
Gorgeous!
We’re painting our dining and living room in complementing greys. They are an open L-shaped set up. I did a dark moodier grey (like the Thom Filicia room) in the dining room with white and gold accents. The living room is a more casual grey with lavendar undertones and an accent wall of black-white-grey aspen tree wallpaper.
Next step: redoing the dining room chairs. Goodbye stained dark wood and beat up red/gold satin. Hello cream paint and faux ostrich leather.
