Dering Hall – Montresor Desk – $13,923 (From designer Jiun Ho a desk with sandblasted walnut trim and cinnamon metal trim.)(above) |
I think this desk is quite posh. Very stylish for a well appointed home office or study. Something both modern and traditional about it. A well designed piece of furniture…with sleek elegant lines and just the right amount of detail. I would pair it with a traditional Louis XVI side chair, a wonderful vintage brass Stiffel lamp with a dark shade, some lacquer desk accessories and a little vase of white peonies…work space perfection I believe. A brilliant piece from San Francisco designer Jiun Ho (I had the pleasure of meeting Jiun last year at some showhouse event)!
A must have…realize also must have $13K as well…some day!
What do you think of this desk? What does your ideal home office work area looking like?
Happy Tuesday!

It’s attractive enough, but definitely not worth over $13,000!
Happy summer! I love the desk! It would be great for a personal office space! I loved keeping up with your blog! Love, Jamie Herzlinger
Love the blue! A great piece of furniture indeed.

ps. I featured your throws in a post about snuggling up today! I just love them xo
The desk is beautiful. I find it quite elegant. My son designed a coffee table a few years ago with a similar aesthetic.

It’s absolutely gorgeous however, even if I HAD 13k to spend on a desk, I’m not sure I could justify it.
Too bad too because it’s insanely cool.

I love it, but I know what my desk looks like after I have been working. All my mess would ruin the aesthetic. I think I would rather have a wonderful trip, first class to an exotic vacation.
I absolutely love it! The aesthetic is awesome and I love the color. The price tag is hefty but I guarantee if you were to put this into a room, it would be the conversation piece of every visitor! Thanks for sharing
