Can’t tell if this is too shabby chic for my taste or it is just interesting and eclectic enough to try out in a small space. I’m kind of liking the idea of stenciling a random mix of graphic patterns onto a white painted wood floor. This small dining room is cute. I always love an interesting graphic pattern rug…so why not just stencil a few patterns right onto the floor?
What do you think? Do you love? Do you “dis-love”? What might you do differently?
Happy Wednesday! Hope you have a good one.

I think I would like a more consistant pattern, love the idea though!

Great floor! I can see getting rid of the bohemian vibe and using a nice sparce mix of mid-century sophistication and Louis XVI.Keep the the artwork minimal and let that floor speak for itself!
Uh.
No. Thank you, no.
Agree with Karena… if it was a more consistent pattern, maybe. Perhaps a herringbone? Zig-zag?
Need more of a pattern, softer tones, great idea ! Would be fun to do this to a kids room and put in areas with words.. like play or rest.. very cute !!!
I honestly couldn’t get past that marionette and now I’m a little freaked out.
The floor is too distressed for me. I like the mismatched chairs though!
it’s Mary McDonald meets Kathryn Ireland. Dislike.
Love the idea but this floor is a little busy for me.
I think its fun ! Would look really cute done in a modern graphic design too !

It’s all a bit ADHD for me! Would drive me crazy. But, yes, stenciled floors can look great.
Love the idea, but prefer this idea inspiration instead: http://pinterest.com/pin/42468540/
I absolutely love the creativity behind the idea of stenciling a wooden floor!! The colors and graphics are not limited at all to what you see on this one, get inspired and be creative!!! 🙂
