Let me reiterate…I LIKE NEUTRAL COLORS AND EARTH TONES… I PREFER CLEAN WHITES (FROM PURE WHITE TO OFF WHITE), RICH BROWNS, TANS, GREENS, PALE BLUES AND SILVER/GRAYS IN ROOM DECOR. NO BRIGHT OR SHOCKING BURSTS OF COLOR FOR ME! NEVER!!!
I need to state the above in all caps…only because I shocked myself the other day when I took photos for this post. Me and bright colors for the home? Never absolutely never… well….maybe just this once!
As I wandered the 5th floor of ABC Carpet & Home in New York City a few weeks back, I was immediately drawn to this bed – this hot pink upholstered tufted frou frou bed in the center of the floor.
Why was I drawn to this you may ask? “The color” I say with trepidation and a bit of fear. I can’t believe I like this colorful pink bed (this is more of an AM color…friend AM loves the color pink…a color usually the favorite of young girls under 10 years old, is also the favorite of my good friend who is not 10 years old or under). It is just not me. I would never think I would like something pink and tufted…but here I am…guess the moral is never say never.
Anyhooooo…here are some photos of this fantastically pink pouffy fluffy luxurious soft decadent bed which include frame, headboard and footboard. The bed is now 20% off…at this discounted price, might be a color risk some of us “colorphobes” might want to take!
By the way…can’t necessarily see many guys being drawn to this bed…this is the ultimate in girly….!
