DESIGNER BEDROOM RECREATE

March 12, 2014
  • Share

Went on a little home tour this weekend of a really cute house in the Hollywood Hills overlooking Los Angeles. Was with my guy TE.  Took a snap of the master bedroom.  Here it is.  I like it.  Wingback tufted headboard, leather poufs, neutral color palette. Would get rid of some of the fur and animal hide…but then I would be happy.

Here’s how to get my version of this look:

SHOP THIS BEDROOM

I do love the round leather poufs…anyone know where to get these exact ones?

Go to COCOCOZY Instagram to see some other rooms in this home…including the spectacular views!  Follow me on Instagram to see what I am up too outside of the blog!

Happy Wednesday!

I think the poufs might actually be these http://www.homedecorators.com/detail.php?parentid=19508&aid=google.push&cm_mmc=SEM%7CHDC%7CG%7CPLA&gclid=CKPSp679jb0CFSNp7AodrzsAng&kwid=productads-plaid^66968920099-sku^1950800460-adType^PLA-device^c-adid^38547532459 though they are canvas not leather. Hope it helps and love the space!

Absolutely love the tufted headboard – it’s gorgeous. I really like the side tables too – but for me, I find them a little impractical for a bedroom – I like to have at least one drawer in my bedside table for my glasses and smaller bits and pieces like jewellery 🙂 Michelle x

Urban Outfitters, “Globe trotter Pouf” made of recycled canvas. Same pattern, hope this helps

Price difference is significant between the two poufs we found. Check to see if there is a difference.

Since you are not crazy about the animal hides, I would suggest the raw silk poufs at pehuendesigns, com. Very textural. You could accessorize the bed with coordinating pillows and throws from this line.

I’m trying tolike this bedroom. But it seems so flat and missing character. Needs a bit of cococozy mixed in. Have a great week-end.

How about grid hassock in wide split rattan instead of pouf? Palacek.com Or coconut shells – Cocotiger Bead Hassor or National Geographic collection of Coco Feathers? All Palacek options with natural textures.

• Encourage people to linger a little longer.
• Turn an ordinary meal into a memorable experience.
• Reflect your personal style without saying a word.
The best part? It doesn’t have to be elaborate. A few layers, fresh flowers, candlelight, or beautiful dinnerware can completely change the atmosphere. 💐

Does this improve the room’s function?
Does it create a better focal point?
Does it make the space easier to walk through?
If the answer is “no” to all three, maybe it’s just the rearranging itch talking. 😅

Black is not a bold choice. It’s a neutral, and one of the most versatile ones in design.
