Love this dining room! The architecture, the furniture and the overall feel make sense to me. The wood floors, the wonderful french windows with shutters, the classic but simple fireplace mantel and the bright white walls are classic yet neutral. Add in a mix of furniture from the modern woven metal chairs, to a midcentury modern looking credenza, to the simple white round dining table with traditional base and even the iron pendant light chandelier…and then you have a fab combo for dining right and dining in style. The perfect blend of classic and modern. I wonder who owns this room. I wonder if I am invited over for dinner!

The room is pretty, but as someone who entertains alot, I am guessing the accoustics in that room are, shall we say, ‘live’ and not that good for creating a warm, comfortable vibe when eating and chatting. just something to think about.
That floor is stunning. I wish I could be as uncluttered as this room.
